I first entered the financial services industry in 1987 when I joined the Bank of Montreal. While at the Bank I was fortunate to hold many positions within the retail distribution channel. I started with the Bank doing mortgage underwriting for the first few years and then shifted my attention to the branch banking network where I was a Branch Manager and then an Area Manager for several branch locations. In 1998 I changed directions and decided to leave the bank and joined the independent advice channel in order to start and grow a financial planning practice from scratch. I joined DundeeWealth where I was both an Advisor and Branch Manager for one of the firm’s larger corporate locations in Toronto. In 2005 I was then asked to take on a larger management role within the firm and was offered the role of Regional Vice President. I have spent most of my career both working with advisors and helping them manage their practices or working directly with our end client in helping them achieve their financial independence.
